Updated: Sep 23, 2021

One mid-major conference is optimistic about fielding its upcoming college basketball conference season.

Recently, the Atlantic 10 Conference revealed its pairs for the 2020-2021 season, with each of the 14 members playing 18 conference games.

The Duquesne Dukes will welcome in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph's and Virginia Commonwealth to Pittsburgh, while traveling to George Mason, La Salle, Richmond and Saint Louis to account for eight of their 18 contests.

The other ten contests will come from five home-and-home pairings, which are scheduled to take place against Dayton, Davidson, Fordham, George Washington and St. Bonaventure. The conference tournament is scheduled for March 10-14, 2021 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In 2019-2020, Duquesne went 21-9 with an 11-7 conference record. As the six seed, they were set to play the 14-seeded Fordham Rams in the tournament's second round before the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of the remainder of winter and spring NCAA sports on March 12.
