After finalizing the two hub cities for return-to-play, the National Hockey League has presented an accompanying schedule.
Per Frank Seravalli of TSN, qualifying action will begin on Saturday, August 1, while round robin competition begins on Monday, August 2. The Eastern Conference will compete at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, while the Western Conference will play at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta.
Edmonton will also host all games for the conference finals of each conference, in addition to the 2020 Stanley Cup Final.
Teams will travel to their hub city on July 26. Exhibition games will take place between July 28 and July 30. The Quarterfinals begin on August 11, while the Semifinals begin on August 25. The Conference finals will start on September 8, with the Stanley Cup Final getting underway on September 22. October 4 is the last possible day for Stanley Cup Final action.

(Game 1) - vs Montreal; Saturday, August 1st
(Game 2) - vs Montreal; Monday, August 3rd
(Game 3) - at Montreal; Monday, August 5th
(Game 4) - at Montreal; Wednesday, August 7th (IF NECESSARY)
(Game 5) - vs Montreal; Thursday, August 8th (IF NECESSARY)
Several players across the league opted out of the season's resumption on Saturday. such as Travis Hamonic (Calgary), Sven Baertschi (Vancouver), Mike Green (Edmonton), Steven Kampfer (Boston) and Karl Alzner (Montreal).
